John Burl Sitz, Jr.

John Burl Sitz, Jr., 69, of Williford died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem. He was born Aug. 13, 1944, in Inglewood, Calif., to the late John Burl, Sr. and Helen Watkins Sitz.

Survivors include his sons, John L. Sitz of Williford and Jason A. Sitz of Lake City; a sister, Ruth A. Matson of Laguna Woods, Calif.; brother Jim Sitz of Hardy; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at Caraway Cemetery.

All relatives and friends are invited to the home of Bonnie and Robert Hensley following the service for snacks and fellowship.
