Phillip Tyrone Duncan

Mr. Phillip Tyrone Duncan, 70, of Dyess, died Monday, April 14, 2014, at NEA Hospital in Jonesboro. Born Aug. 1, 1943, he was a retired forklift mechanic and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Cadis Duncan; and one brother, Charles Sanford Duncan.

He leaves his wife, Sadie Duncan of Dyess;

Three sons, Charles (and Sofia) Duncan of Osceola, Michael Duncan of Milligan Ridge, and Kevin (and Angel) Duncan of Hot Springs;

Four sisters, Ana Valasquez of Kentucky, Betty McOwen of Memphis, Elaine Comer of Batesville, and Linda Cochran of Etowah;

One brother, Herman Duncan of Osceola; and

Fourteen grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from noon-2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. with Bro. Billy Plunkett officiating. Burial will take place in Dyess Cemetery.
