Mr. David Earl Daniel, 56, of Blytheville, formerly of Richmond, Mo., passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla.

David was born Nov. 8, 1957, in Richmond, Mo., to Robert E. and Betty (Bryant) Daniel. He was married to Judy Wren who survives in the home.

David was a graduate of Missouri State University and distinguished veteran of the U. S. Air Force. David worked as an industrial engineer in the steel industry for the last 20 years in Blytheville, up till his death.

David was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Daniel.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Daniel;

His mother, Betty Daniel of Richmond;

Two brothers, Dale Daniel and his wife, Katy, of Vine Grove, Ky., and Darrin Daniel and his wife, Cherie, of Colorado Springs, Col.;

Two step-sons, Michael McCurry and his wife, Christi, of Blytheville, and Joe Dan and his wife, Lauren McCurry, of Little Rock;

An aunt, Jean Bengston of Richmond;

His brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dwight and Dian Wren of Blytheville, another brother-in-law, Gary Wren of Blytheville and sister-in-law, Carol Clark, of Conway; and

His mother-in-law, Dorthy Thombs of Blytheville.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis or to the donor's choice.

Memorial services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, Mo. Inurnment will be in the Richmond Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com
