Hattie Faye Barlow Hitchcock, 63, of Manila, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014, in Jonesboro.

Born in Crenshaw, Miss., she was the daughter of the late James and Nettie Taylor Barlow. She had lived most of her life in Houston, Texas, before moving to Manila in 1998.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Hitchcock; her sons, James Harold Hitchcock Jr., and James David Hitchcock; and her grandson, John McVay.

She is survived by four daughters, Deborah Hitchcock of Anderson, S.C., Judy Stevens of Bay, Ruby Schrader of Manila and Cathie Cruz of Missouri;

Four brothers, Jessie Barlow of Senatobia, Miss., and Timmy Barlow, Jimmy Barlow and Jeff Barlow, all of Batesville, Miss.;

Four sisters, Ruby Yarbrough of Courtland, Miss., Jean Briggs of Batesville, Miss., Margaret Hales of Minden, La., and Juanita Barlow of Drew, Miss.;

Eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Howard Funeral Service in Manila with the Rev. Raymond Britt officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Camren Gamble, Steven Barlow, Michael Schrader, Tanner Neer, Carlos Landaverde Jr., and Jessie (Chuy) Landaverde.
