Mr. Paul Thomas James, 49, of Charleston, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, in Charleston.

Born in Hayti, Mo., he was a self-employed painter and small engine repairman.

He leaves behind his wife, Wanda James of Charleson;

One daughter, Abby James of Russelville;

Two sons, Logan Wheeler of Fort Smith and Paul Demeyer of Elkhart, Ind.;

One step-daughter, Cullen O'Shane of Charleson;

Two step-sons, Ryan O'Shane and Christopher O'Shane of Charleson;

One sister, Sharon Thrasher of Blytheville;

One brother, Jerry Wayne Smith of Charleson; and

Special friends, Heather and Jason Sparkman of Oklahoma, Bertha James of Fort Smith, Richard Gillentine of Osceola and Harley Grimes Sr. of Osceola.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Bro. Gary Andrews officiating. Burial will follow at Parks Cemetery in Charleston.
