Dixie Carolyn Tate, 67, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Born Jan. 5, 1947, in Burdette, she was a retired American Greetings employee. She was a member of Tyler Church of God in Tyler, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Franklin and Imo Tate; two sisters, Danna Faulkner and Doris Tate; a brother, Billy Edward Tate; and one great-grandchild, Hannah Grace Barnett.

She leaves one son, Ricky Perkins of Caruthersville, Mo.;

Two sisters, Wanday Stanley of Luxora and Phyllis White of Blytheville; and

Five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Ruddle Road Church of God in Blytheville with the Rev. Scott Riley and the Rev. Danny Pankey officiating. Burial will follow in Mississippi Cemetery Memorial Gardens in Osceola with Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola in charge of arrangements.
