Daniel Mason Wallace Sr., 76, of Monette passed away Dec. 28, 2013, in Paragould due to complications from injuries received in a car accident earlier this year. He was born Feb. 2, 1937, in Monette to the late Daniel Richard and Estella Masner Wallace. Mr. Wallace was a farmer, member of the National Guard and a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Monette. He loved to hunt and fish. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by his parents as well as a sister, Norma Joy Bearden, and a brother, Richard Wallace.

Survivors include his loving wife, Martha Howard Wallace of Monette; daughter, Danielle Schroeder and husband Howell of Lake St. Louis, Mo.; son, Daniel Mason Wallace Jr. and wife Larisa of Paragould; grandchildren, Eli Mason Wallace and Ty Larson Wallace, both of Paragould, and Hayden Alexander Schroeder of Lake St. Louis, Mo.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon Tuesday, Dec. 31, at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Gregg Funeral Home with Rev. Rusty Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in Monette Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are John Howard, Bob Howard, Andy Howard, Bobby Howard, Larry Larson and Howell Schroeder. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Chambers Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church Monette.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Monette.
