Linda Jackson

Ms. Linda Jackson, 60, of Manila, died on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 in Manila. Ms. Jackson was born on Dec. 8, 1953, in Benton Harbor, Mich., to Everett and Marveline Weatherford Hillhouse. Ms. Jackson was a homemaker, but in recent years she worked at her son's business, Jackson's Service Center in Manila. Ms. Jackson worshiped at the Blackwater Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing and crafts, and especially loved birds

Survivors include her mother, Marveline Weatherford of Manila; two sons, Coy Jackson of manila, and Dewey Hiler of Jonesboro; two daughters, Jennifer Wenzel and husband Toby of Sacramento, Calif., and Lindsey Jackson of Manila; six brothers, Gary "Vernon" Hillhouse of Manuel, Texas, Fred Hillhouse of Stephenville, Texas, David Hillhouse of Berrien Center, Mich., Steve Hillhouse and wife Kris of Benton Harbor, Mich., Phil Hillhouse and wife Vickie of Decatur, Mich., and Russell Hillhouse of Yarbro; two sisters, Melanie Hughes and husband Richard of Fayetteville,, and Karla Wilson and husband, Bruce of Manila; and a host of nieces an nephews.

Ms. Jackson was preceded in death by her father, Everette Vernon Hillhouse.

The family received visitors at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at Blackwater Baptist Church in Manila. Funeral services followed the visitation with Brother William Piercy officiating.

The family requested private disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
