Mrs. Stella Mae Mitchell, 52, of Blytheville, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born Aug. 30, 1961, in Memphis, she worked at American Greetings and was a member of Nehemiah Temple Church of God in Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Davis Sr. and Rosie Palmer; and a brother, Jerome Davis.

Mrs. Mitchell leaves her husband, Alfred Mitchell of Blytheville;

Four daughters, Shannon Taylor, Tiara Black, and Kaneisha Black of Blytheville, and Cassandra Fisher of Killeen;

One son, Larry Black Jr. of Blytheville;

Two sisters, Delores Peoples of Elkart, Ind., and Louisa (and Charles, Sr.) Frazier of Blytheville;

One brother, John Davis Jr. of Little Rock; and

Eight grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at the Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services, officiated by Dr. David Corns, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Nehemiah Temple Church of God in Christ.
