Louella June Smith

Mrs. Louella June Smith, 81 of Dell, passed from this life Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at Gosnell Therapy and Living Center.

Born June 23, 1932, in Leachville, to Jim and Lillian Grimes Millhorn, she was known as "Nurse June" and touched the hearts of many and bandaged the wounds of those in need. Mrs. Smith worked for many years at the offices of Dr. Ronald Smith in Blytheville, then later retired, turning her focus to doing God's work where she led a life as a devout Christian and was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church in Dell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Smith; a son, David Gene Smith; and a sister, Dora Lee Watson.

Mrs. Smith leaves her son, Clinton Smith of Dell;

Her grandchildren, Clinton Smith Jr. and wife, Amber, of Dell, Deanna Smith of Blytheville, Heather Cathy and husband, Willie, of Gosnell;

Her great-grandchildren, Dakota Smith and Karma Smith;

A sister, Jimmie Davis and husband, Roland, of Idabel, Okla.;

A very special niece, Elaine Goff of Blytheville; and

Many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, along with a host of very special friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Ronald Smith and Lisa Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Josh Thompson officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until service time.
