Deborah Jean Ward, 63, of Caraway, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro. Mrs. Ward was born on Oct. 19, 1950, in Manila to the late William Luther and Alburta Grable Crews. Mrs. Ward enjoyed singing, music, dancing, laughing and joking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters, LaDonna and husband John Thrasher of Caraway, Belinda and husband Donnie Hensley of Osceola and Paula Rayburn and husband Larry of Jayless, Miss; one son, Timothy Crews of Caraway; five brothers, Bennie Crews of Jonesboro, Lynn Crews of Caraway, Don Crews of Caraway, Wayne Crews of West Helena, and Gary Crews of Harrisburg; two sisters, JoAnn Jeffers of Monette and Barbara Roberts of Elaine; five grandchildren, Ava Thrasher of Caraway, Michael Webb of Osceola, Cody Webb of Osceola, Samantha Rayburn of Jayess, Miss., and Larry Rayburn III of Jayess, Miss., and a host of other family and friends.

Mrs. Ward Was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service was held at Rowes Chapel Baptist Church in Caraway at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, with Brother Glen Hoselton officiating. The family received visitors at the church from noon until time for service. Burial was at Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila.
