Margaret Helen Besharse

Margaret Helen Besharse, 88, formerly of Blytheville, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at Whispering Pine Lodge Nursing Home in Longview, Texas.

Margaret was born March 1, 1925, in Olney, Texas, to Annie Lee and D.P Mcneill.

She was a nurse and retired from Dr. Herbert Jones' office in Blytheville. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Blytheville.

She loved sewing and she loved to play Scrabble. She was a devoted Christian for more than 50 years. She opened her heart and her resources to anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents Annie Lee and D.P Mcneill of Texas, her husband Howard "Bo" Besharse of Blytheville, and a son, Mark Edward Besharse of Blytheville.

Margaret was a loving mother to Howard "Mack" Besharse and his wife Genia Besharse of Longview, Texas, and Margaret loved her daughter, Leanne Pipkin and her husband Larry of Longview.

Her surviving family members and friends are numerous, but mainly include:

Her five grandchildren, Shawn Besharse and his wife Shelly Besharse of Houston, Casey Besharse and his wife Angie Besharse of Monette, Natalie Besharse of Blytheville, Joey Pipkin and his wife Rachel Pipkin of Hallsville, Texas, and Jonathan Pipkin of Hallsville.

Fourteen great-grandchildren, Haley and Brant Besharse of Houston; Carmen, Austin and Demre Besharse of Monette; Elora Besharse and Jayda Bell of Blytheville; Chloe and Chesney Pipkin of Hallsville, Texas; Logan Caver of Hallsville; Tyler, Mckynzie, Leigha and Hunter Pipkin of Hallsville.

One great-great-grandchild, Adrian Besharse of Blytheville.

Extended family, Karin Pate of Blytheville and Theresa and Neil Burge of Blytheville.

Many special friends, including Cheryl and Terri Bowling of Blytheville, and Virple Walker, Carol Thornton, Christine York, Eva Bowling, Evelyn Pate and Mary Rapert, all of Blytheville.

She was proceeded in death by her best friend, the late Juanita Despain of Blytheville.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers and support in many heartfelt forms from too many people to name individually, but including Whispering Pine Lodge Nursing Home, family and friends -- either through prayer and/or visits, neighbors, and even random acts of kindness.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at Trinity Baptist Church, 918 E Main Streey, in Blytheville.
