Ossie Lee Richardson, 74, of Blytheville, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at Northeast Arkansas Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Born Aug. 8, 1939, in Shreveport, La., she was a homemaker and a member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Promiseland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Taylor and Mattie Bell Taylor; her husband, Percy Richardson Sr.; a daughter, Irene Marie Richardson; a son Isaac Lee Richardson; and brothers Dixie Taylor, Andrew Taylor and Troy Taylor.

Mrs. Richardson leaves three daughters, Regina (and Willie Lee) Jones and Melissa (and Andrea) Guice, both of Blytheville, and Levern McFerrin of Grand Rapids, Mich.;

Four sons, Percy Richardson Jr. of Steele, Arthur Richardson of Blytheville, Andrew Richardson of McCrory, and Troy Richardson of Blytheville;

Two sisters, Juliette Taylor of Boiser City and Mable Taylor of Shreveport; and

Eighteen grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Burton Furlow, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
