David Keller

Mr. David Keller, 73, of Blytheville, passed from this life Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at Crittenden Regional Hospital in West Memphis.

Born in Beaumont, S.C., to Harold and Frances Whitlock Keller, he was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in the Vietnam War, a retired civil service employee and was a member of the North Tenth Street Baptist Church.

David was a member of the American Legion, he loved the military and loved serving his country. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed being outside. He liked to paint and in his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Nix.

David is survived by his wife, Joyce Short Keller, of the home;

His children, Renee Craig and husband, Reggie, of Blytheville, Tracy Keller and wife, Susan, of Manila, and Brandon Keller and wife, Kelley, of Hayden, Ala.;

His grandchildren, Rachael Cole, Brandon Craig, Kyle Guess, Reece Keller and Luke Keller;

His great-grandchildren, Ryan Cole and Kensley Cole;

Two brothers Richard Keller of Blytheville and Gary Keller of Spartanburg, S.C; and

A sister, Joan Foster of Spartanburg, S.C.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Elmwood Cemetery with Dr. Max Briley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Cobb Funeral Home.
