Larry W. Stokes Sr.

Mr. Larry W. Stokes Sr., 53, of Heth, Ark., died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, in Heth. He was born Oct. 7, 1959, to John P. and Naoma Stokes in Blytheville. He was owner of D-L Trucking and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Stokes; and brother, Johnny Stokes.

Survivors include one son, Larry "Booger" (and Megan) Stokes Jr. of West Memphis;

One daughter, Shannon (and Andrew) Gardner of Heth;

Three grandchildren, Audrey Brown, Lew Brown and Bella Brown;

His parents, John P. Stokes and Naoma Stokes;

Two sisters, Lynn Ashley of Blytheville and Ruby Young of Heth;

Six brothers, John P. Stokes Jr. of Heth, Leonard Stokes, Barney Stokes, David "Willie" Stokes, Donald Stokes and Julian Stokes, all of Blytheville;

A special niece, SaDonna Davidson of Heth; and

Numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Roller Swift Funeral Home in Osceola. The funeral service will be at p.m. Wednesday at Roller Swift Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens. An online guestbook is available at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com
