Luella White Hoskins

Mrs. Luella White Hoskins, 104, of Memphis, formerly of Wilson, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, in Memphis. Born May 5, 1909, in Hernando, Miss., she was a farmer and a saleslady and a member of Eagle Wright Missionary Baptist Church of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Rhonda Butler; husband Jessie Hoskins; sisters Henrietta, Donnie Mae Williams, and Johnanna Jones; and brothers William Andrew Butler, Joseph Butler, Tex Oliver Butler, Wesley Butler, Lesley Butler and Jethro Butler.

Mrs. Hoskins leaves her grand-niece and caregiver, Raynell Mitchell of Memphis; and

A host of other relatives.

The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m.-noon Thurday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services, officiated by Willie C. Moore, will begin at the funeral home directly following visitation at noon. Burial will follow at Rivercrest Gardens in Marie.
