Beulah Tillman House

Tuesday, August 6, 2013

Mrs. Beulah Tillman House, 95 of Tomato, passed from this life Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at the Heritage Nursing Center in Blytheville.

Born the daughter of Sam Louis and Clydia Belcher Tillman, she inspired faith and love to all who knew her. These same characteristics were reflected by her husband of 67 years, John Marvin House. From this marriage were born twelve children, with their infant son, Gerald preceding them in death.

As a homemaker, Beulah would spend the rest of her life as a dedicated wife to a hard working husband and as a devoted, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Together, they would instill Christian values of honesty, compassion and kindness toward each of their children and all who knew them. They chose to live a Christian life by example and not just words.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, John; a son, Gerald; a son, Hugh Edward, eight short months ago; and siblings Sam Jr., Harvey, Vernon "Sonny" Tillman, Reba Carson and Georgia Cochran

Beulah is survived by her children, Virgil (and Patti) House, James "Bud" and Marie House, all of the Chicago area, Mary Ann (and Tom) House Spann of Benton, John House of Huntsville, Ala., Norma Sue House (and Richard) Zerbini of San Jose, Calif., Glenda House Westrich, of Kelso, Mo., Terry (and Sandra) House of Knoxville, Tenn., Charles Richard (and Barbara) of Batesville David (and Cheryl) Michael of Jackson, Mo., Lisa House (and Tim) Booth of Walnut Ridge;
