Jane Parks

Mrs. Jane Parks, 92, of Bastrop, La., passed from this life Thursday, July 25, 2013, in Monroe, La.

Mrs. Parks, born in Half Moo to George W. and Maudie Widner, was a homemaker and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, Collinston Garden Club and the Town and Country Homemakers Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam C. Parks; a daughter, Dorotha Louise Fuslier; and a son, Howard Jay Parks.

Mrs. Parks is survived by her children, Virginia Aldridge of Dover, Ark., Cynthia Parks of Sterlington, La., Demetra Lossett of Gladewater, Texas, Jimmie Errol Berner of El Dorado, and Gary Parks of Dry Prong, La.;

Eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today in Golden Funeral Home Chapel in Bastrop, La., with the Rev. William Fowler officiating.

A graveside services will be held 2 p.m Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Blytheville.
