Mr. Herman Davis Williams, 74, of Osceola, formerly of Luxora, died Friday, June 14, 2013, in Osceola. Born March 27, 1939, in Luxora, he was retired from the Home Oil Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Williams and Annie Mae Edmond; his wife, Alma Williams; his son, Frankie Williams; his sisters, Sara B. Riley, Hannah Cole, Betty Willis and Ora Lee Proctor; and his brother, Joe Williams.

Mr. Williams leaves nine daughters, Alma Jean Williams II, Mary Ann Williams, Annie Ann Clark, Donna J. Williams, Doris Baker, and Becky Williams, all of Luxora, Barbara Ann Coleman and Tammy Williams of Osceola, and Joyce Ann Nash of Blytheville;

Four sons, Elvis Williams of Dallas, Herman Williams Jr. of Osceola, and Carl Williams and Christopher Williams of Luxora;

One brother, Albert Smith of Jonesboro; and

A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 21, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services, officiated by Dr. Moses Black, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Luxora Cemetery.
