Mary Pauline Goolsby, 77, of Blytheville, passed from this life Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Heritage Square Nursing Center in Blytheville.

Born in Rosa, Ark., to Wilbur Clarence and Sadie Eugenia Gookin Lee, she owned her own daycare for many years and was a faithful Christian and a member of Apostolic Lighthouse Church of Steele.

Ms. Goolsby loved children and helped guide so many on to lead successful lives. She was an avid gardener, who up until this year had a garden in her entire backyard. She enjoyed canning her bounty and sharing with others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ed Earl Lee.

Pauline is survived by a sister-in-law, Hilda Lee of Blytheville;

A nephew, Mike Lee, and wife, Ginger, and niece, Pam Ricciardi, and husband, Vito;

Her great-nieces and nephews, Chris and Julie Lee, Teagan Lee, Kinsley Lee, Chase Ricciardi, Ryan Ricciardi, Lauren and Jacob Stearns and Sylvie Stearns.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeremy Damesworth officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. An online register may be signed at cobbfuneralhome.com
