Mrs. Patsy Morgan Privett, 76, died Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Doctor's Hospice in Fayetteville, Ga. Mrs. Privett was born Nov. 27, 1936 in Monette, the only child of Jewel and Clara Morgan. She and her late husband, Leon, lived in Tupelo, Miss., for over 30 years where she was an active member of the East Main Church of Christ. A homemaker, Patsy was beloved by her only daughter, granddaughter and their families as well as her many friends in the Tupelo area. She had lived in Newnan, Ga., with her daughter for the last year.


A service celebrating her life was held at 3 p.m.Sunday at the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Minister Gary Williams and Matthew Benefield officiating. Burial will followed in Tupelo Memorial Park. Visitation was from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday.


Survivors include her daughter, Beth Howell and her husband, Cory, of Newnan, Ga.; and

Rer only granddaughter, Morgan Moran of Tupelo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Leon Privett, on June 25, 2004.
