Mark Eugene Davis

Mark Eugene Davis, age 43, of Lake City, was found dead Sunday May 26, 2013, near Lake City. Born in Harrisburg, Ark., he was the son of the late Dwight Davis and had attended Lake City High School. He was a self-employed tree trimmer and a member of the Bethabara Baptist Church.

Survivors include 2 sons Timothy Lee Davis and Markus Ray Davis, both of Lake City; his mother, Judy Greeno Davis of Lake City; 4 brothers, Keith Davis, Brett Davis, Colton Davis, and Chris Turner; and a sister, Kasey Travis.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 31, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Darren Owens officiating. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

There will be a private burial in Pine Log Cemetery at a later date.
