Susan Ann Amos

Mrs. Susan Ann Amos, 61, of Manila, died Monday, May 27, 2013, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Washington, D. C., she was the daughter of the late Paul and Maxine Thompson Churchwell and was a 1969 graduate of Chicopee High School in Chicopee, Mass.

She was the widow of Mr. Clinton Amos and was a retired registered nurse. Mrs. Amos had lived in Manila for the past 20 years and was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Julia and Horace Box of Manila.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. today at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with the Rev. Robert White officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.
