William Marlin King

Mr. William Marlin King, 76, of Monette, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at Monette Manor Nursing Center in Monette. Born in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Lobert and Amilia Turner King and had lived most of his life in Missouri before returning to Arkansas a few years ago. He was retired from Henry Howard Farms in Luxora and was a member of Amonsoquath Cherokee Tribe in Van Buren, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Roselle King; a granddaughter, Sherrie Denice King; one brother, Johnny King; and two sisters, Pearline Fleming and Marjrie Neal.

He is survived by three sons, Michael King and his wife, Michelle, of Cardwell, Mo., Marlin King and his wife, Mary, of Monette, and Mark King of Monette;

Two daughters, Michele Kelly and her husband, Tony, of Monette, and Marcelle Sheppard and her husband, Steve, of Belleville, Ill.;

Two sisters, Anna and Elsie Lindsey, both of Paragould; and

Sixteen grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial/Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. today at the Monette First Baptist Church Family Life Center in Monette with Mr. Bob Blankenship officiating. An online guest registry may be accessed at www.howardfuneralservice.com
