Jimmy Dale Scroggins, Sr.

Jimmy Dale Scroggins, Sr., 64, of Manila, died May 13, 2013. Jimmy was born Aug. 17, 1948, at Caraway. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cletus Scroggins and Willie Kirkland Scroggins and a son, Jimmy Scroggins, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha Boyd Scoggins of Manila; two daughters, Rebecca Dedeugd of Kennett, Mo., and Ada Riddle of Manila; a sister, Charlene Cleveland of Judsonia, Ark.; and two brothers, Paul Scroggins of Kennett, Mo., and Bill Scroggins of Braidwood, Ill. He is also survived by five grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Thursday, May 16, at 2 p.m. with Brother Gary Andrews officiating at the Wilson Funeral Home. Visitation was held Wednesday, May 15, from 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Burial was at Sandy Ridge Cemetery.
