James Vaughn

Mr. James Vaughn, 80, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at his home. Born Oct. 3, 1932, in Hayti, Mo., he was retired from Piatt's Furniture in Qulin and was a member of Midland Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Stockton Vaughn; his parents, Johnny and Bessie Vaughn; his sisters, Tennie Evett, Maxine Flemming and Nancy Vaughn; his brothers, T.J. Vaughn, Louise Vaughn and Harley Vaughn; and one grandson.

Mr. Vaughn leaves three daughters, Annetta (and Mike) King and Pam (and Rick) Armor of Poplar Bluff, and Nancy (and Rick) Berry of Bonaire;

Two sisters, Hazel Handley of McBride and Ella Davis of Niles;

One brother, Mack (and Bobbie) Vaughn of Blytheville; and

Eight grandchildren, Misty Smith, Kevin King, Jamie Bridgewater, Kelly Sebek, Becky Barrett, Dustin Berry, Stacy Hillis and Tyler Berry.

The family received visitors from 5-9 p.m. Sunday at the Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Paul White, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Midland Church in Poplar Bluff. Burial followed at Qulin Cemetery.
