Pastor Floyd Edward Walker, 78, of Blytheville, died Monday, April 8, 2013, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born May 11, 1936, in Franklin, he was a retired carpenter and a member and Pastor at Greater Jubilee Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hezekiah Walker and Snowanna Hester Walker; his sisters, Jodie Brock, Pearlie Mae Moore, and Marie "Mickey" Walker; and his brothers, Luther Walker and Joseph Walker.

Mr. Walker leaves his wife, Loraine Dority Walker of Blytheville;

Eight daughters, Phyliss Brown of Chicago, Edwina Dunn of Nashville, Tenn., Anna Walker Perrin of Toledo, Ohio, Patricia Walker Lemon, Catherine Leshea Walker and Frankie Frazier of Atlanta, Sandy Mosley of Afghanistan, and Gwenda Jacobs of Blytheville;

Eleven sons, Kennett Lavelle Walker of Chicago, Michael Walker and Ronald Walker of Atlanta, Floyd Walker Jr., Derrick Walker, Virgil Walker, Carlton Leray Harriston and Norman Houston, all of Cincinatti, Ohio, Lamont Coats of Delaware, and Robert Frazier Sr. and Bennie Mosley of Blytheville; and

A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at First Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Floyd Walker Jr., will be held directly following the visitation at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home of Blytheville is handling funeral arrangements.
