Allen Merle Bard
Allen Merle Bard, 62, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013. He was born Jan. 7, 1951 at East Plains, Mo. Mr. Bard was well known as a hardworking cowboy and coon hunter. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of the Caraway First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Freeman Bard; his mother, Kathleen Bard of Caraway; his children, Patrick Bard and wife Jessica, Amanda Daniels and Cody Allan Bard, all of Caraway; two sisters and their husbands, Marylin and Bill Sneed of Cherokee Village and Donna and Marion Boshell of Rose Bud; five grandchildren, Chandler Daniels, Cayci Daniels, Dyland Bard, Dalton Bard and Weston Bard.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alex Bard.
A celebration of his life was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at the
Caraway First Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Stevens officiating. Burial was in Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, at the Caraway First Baptist Church.
