Willie Lee Morris Sr.

Mr. Willie Lee Morris Sr., 88, of Pine Bluff, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013. He was born in Jerome to the late Willie Morris and Della Marie Reed Morris Bryant-Hameth.

He was a World War II veteran and a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church where he was a deacon and Sunday School teacher.

Mr. Morris leaves his son, Willie Lee Morris Jr. of Killeen, Texas;

Four daughters, Wanda Gipson, June Dirks, and Donna Coleman, all of Pine Bluff, and Norene Gerler of Houston; and

Twelve grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6:30 p.m. today at Brown Funeral Home with a family hour from 5:30-6:30. Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. A.G. Green, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Jerusalem Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Forrest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at 1202 S. Washington Street, Pine Bluff.
