Mary Ellen Copeland, 89, of Leachville, died Friday March 8, 2013, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born in Caraway, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Martha Sue Webb Kincaid and was raised in the Manila area. She had been a Leachville resident since 1964 and was a member of the Leachville Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Willie Fleeman and Cecil Copeland, nine sons, one grandson, two great-great-granddaughters, two sisters and five brothers.

Survivors include:

Four sons, Tommy Fleeman and wife, Rosetta of Selma, Calif., Jimmy Fleeman of Monette, Johnny Copeland of Lake Wells, Fla., and Gary Copeland of Winter Haven, Fla.

Six daughters, Doris Jean Rountree of Manila, Norma Stacy of Leachville, Carolyn Robertson and husband, Paul of Osceola, Helen Wiseman and special friend, Larry Huckabee of Cardwell, Mo., Debbie Black of Texarkana, Texas, and Mary Ruth Watson of Texarkana, Texas;

Twenty-eight grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 35 great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Fleeman, Danny Collins, Ronnie Rountree, James Rountree, Mike Rountree and Brad Fleeman. Honorary pallbearers will include Paul Allen Robertson, James Stacy, Tim Wellman and Larry Huckabee.
