Louella Vanderbilt

Mrs. Louella Vanderbilt, 76, of Osceola, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born Dec. 30, 1936, to the late Andy and Clottie Thames, she retired from American Greetings and was a member of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Marshall Thames.

Mrs. Vanderbilt leaves two daughters, Marcia (and Donald) Perry of Jonesboro and Shirley Vanderbilt of Osceola;

One son, Eric Vanderbilt of Fort Worth, Texas;

One sister, Ida Curry of Decatur, Miss.;

Eleven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Osceola with Wade Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.
