Donna Pitts

Donna Pitts, 70, of Monette passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born Nov. 20, 1942, to William and Elizabeth Paxton Wallis. She was of the Baptist faith and loved sewing and gardening, cooking and babysitting her granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Glenn Wallis and Jerry wayne Clayton; and a sister, Linda Thomas.

Survivors include four sons, Gerald Pitts of Manila, Joey Pitts of Jonesboro, Bryan (Audrey) Pitts of Memphis and Billy Pitts of Monette; a daughter and son-in-law Darlene and Scott Crawford of Paragould; a daughter-in-law, Grace Ann Pitts; a granddaughter, Madison Crawford; a grandson, Brandon Allen; three sisters, Melva Taylor of Monette, Vergeraley Knuckles and Mary Ann Baugh, both of Jonesboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was from noon until 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro.

Funeral services were 1 p.m. Wednesday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home with Jerry Reed officiating. Burial followed at Pine Log Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the donor's choice of charities.
