Rev. Willie Lee Davis, 79, of Blytheville, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at Great River Medical Center. Born June 2, 1933, to the late Oaussie Davis and Elnora Davis, he retired from the Pepsi Cola plant and was a member of True Light Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Davis.

Mr. Davis leaves eight daughters, Juanita Bradley of Austin, Texas, Evangelist Norma Marshall of Kennett, Mo., and Willie Mae Crawford, Anna Robinson, Elnora Luster, Selma Bass, Gladys James and Jeanette Cannon, all of Blytheville;

One daughter-in-law, Clara Mae Armstead of Waukegan, Ill.;

One son, Lee Roy Davis of Jacksonville, Fla.;

Two sisters, Gladys Mae Armstead of Waukegan, Ill., and Lovella Coaty of Chicago;

Two brothers, Floyd Davis of New Orleans and Lloyd Davis; and

Thirty-three grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at True Light Baptist Church with the Rev. Scotty Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville.
