Martha Jane Jones

Martha Jane Jones, 69, of Blytheville, passed from this life Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born in Booneville, Miss., to Shelby and Ona Lambert Jones, she was a sales clerk for J.C. Penney and was a member of Pathway Church of God. Martha enjoyed working but her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her grandson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Willie Eugene "Hootie" Huddleston and Rickey Lee Edge; and one brother, Wayne Jones.

Martha is survived by her son, Kyle Edge, and wife, Lynn, of Blytheville;

A grandson, Tyler Edge of Blytheville;

Three sisters, Joyce Smith of Jonesboro, Gail Pruitt of Bentonville, and Eva Middleton of Blytheville; and

Her sister-in-law, Emma Jones of Mountain Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pathway Church of God in Blytheville with Pastor L.V. Rigney and the Rev. Danny Pankey officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.
