Zeleuda Qualls

Mrs. Zeleuda Qualls, 83, of Blytheville passed from this life Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Heritage Square Nursing Home in Blytheville.

Born in Manila to Sam and Mattie Palmer Fleeman, she was a bookkeeper for Dr. Pepper Bottling Company for 23 years. She was also employed as a bookkeeper at Littrell-Ozier Ford, Sam Black Motor Company and Carlock Pontiac. Mrs. Qualls was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she loved to sing and was a choir member for over 30 years. She enjoyed sewing and do-it-yourself projects and she claimed her greatest accomplishments in life were her children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Y.V. Qualls.

Mrs. Qualls is survived by her children, Mary Knight and husband, Billy, of Dell, Victor Qualls and wife, Toni, of Pine Bluff, and Anita Singleton and husband, Sam, of Conway;

Her grandchildren, Mike Qualls and wife, Amy, Stacy Qualls, Kim Parnell, Kristi Cowger and husband, Bill, Niki Schumacher and husband, Chris, and Sam Knight; and

Thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at 11:00am in Cobb Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Marilyn Webb officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time. An online register may be signed at cobbfuneralhome.com
