Prince Nathia Barbee

Mr. Prince Nathia Barbee, 67, of Osceola, died of a stroke Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, in Cape Girardeau. Born June 8, 1945, in Luxora, he was a security guard and served in the Army National Guard. He was a Baptist.

Mr. Barbee leaves his son, Steven Barbee Sr. of Los Angeles;

Three sisters, Willa Cash of Detroit and Ladora White and Annie Barbee of Chicago; and

Four grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Osceola. Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Moses Black, will be held at the church following the visitation. Burial will follow at the V.A. Cemetery in Memphis. Funeral arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.
