Rev. C.L. Redd, 61, of Blytheville, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born Jan. 26, 1951, in Chicago, to the late Cleamon Webb and Olivia Redd, he was the pastor of First Baptist Church in Joiner, a bail bondsman, a probation officer and a Vietnam Army veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Clem Webb.

Redd leaves his wife, Birdie Jackson Redd of Blytheville;

Three daughters, Angela (and Timazee) Redd-Brown and Cher (and Curtis) Williams of Blytheville, and Adrienne Redd of West Palm Beach, Fla.;

One son, Joe (and Cynthia) Jackson of Blytheville;

Two sisters, Barbara James of Blytheville and Ann Chester of Memphis; and

Fifteen grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Osceola with Pastor D.D. Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville.
