James Wayne Kirk, 65, of Navarre, Fla., former northeast Arkansas resident, passed from this life Tuesday Nov. 20, 2012, at the Covenant Hospice in Pensacola, Fla. Born in Blytheville, he had lived in Lilburn, Mo., as a child and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Wayne was later employed by Carlock Pontiac in Blytheville for many years.

He had been a resident of Navarre, Fla., since 1982 and was a self-employed auto mechanic.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Ron Amick of Manila; and

Two grandsons, Hunter Wayne Holt Amick and Kaleb Gene Amick.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with the Rev. Ferrel Duffel officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Manila Cemetery.
