Herbert Ray Loveless

Mr. Herbert Ray Loveless, 74, of Blytheville, passed from this life Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Great River Medical Center.

Born in Haleyville, Ala., to Curtis and Bertha Coleman Loveless, he was a member of Ruddle Road Church of God, retired from Heeken Canning Company, where he was assistant plant manager for 37 years, and served in the United States Army Reserves. Herbert was a graduate of Blytheville High School, was an active volunteer with the Mississippi County Senior Citizens Center, Meals on Wheels and was an avid golfer.

His parents preceded his in death.

Herbert is survived by his daughter, Donna Kay Thompson, and husband, Darryl, of Cordova, Tenn.;

His grandsons, Dylan Thompson and Dustin Thompson, brothers, John Loveless of Arlington Heights, Ill., and James Loveless of Mulberry, Fla.;

Two sisters, Ethelyne Trice of Algonquin, Ill., and Agnes Warren of Palentine, Ill.;

A very special niece, Lisa Gaskins, and a great-niece, Lindsey Gaskins, both of Blytheville.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Pankey officiating. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. until service time Wednesday. An online register may be signed at cobbfuneralhome.com
