Yard of the Month program builds pride
To the editor:
The Ladybug Garden Club would like to thank the residents of Blytheville who have been working in their yards. As our team of judges have driven through the five areas looking at all yards and especially those nominated each month, we are so proud of all those who are helping to beautify their neighborhood.
Once your yard is nominated we look at it along with the others nominated during the entire season. Those that are awarded the Ladybug Yard of the Month sign have all been so proud and state they are working to get their neighbors involved. When we place those signs, the first response is "hank you so much" and then "WOW, I will have to really keep it in good shape now."
We would like to thank the Courier News and Andy Weld for printing the winners pictures each month and running the nomination form that helps us so much. Thanks to all of you and we will be selecting winners for October, the last month for this season.
So send those nominations in when you notice a beautiful yard that deserves recognition. And, get to work ... you could be selected as the next winner.
