Mr. Billy Wayne Langley Sr., 75, lifetime resident of Blytheville, entered "The Father's House" Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.

Bill was born April 5, 1937, in Blytheville to William David Langley and Ina Mae Edwards. He was a business owner of Langley Auto Sales for 25 years and Langley & Sons for 12 years, working as a certified mechanical technician. He was a member of Pathway Church of God, where he served on the Pastors Council (Deacon), Trustee, Sunday School teacher for over 40 years, church clerk for 20 years, youth director (YPE), Sunday School superintendent for 10 years, member of men's fellowship, the Forever Young Group, a Caregiver leader, greeter and prayer ministry leader. He was the founder and manager of the "Good News Singers" of Blytheville. Bill led a home Bible study and discipled many pastors, teachers and leaders for 35 years. He was honored and inducted into the Hall of Christian Excellence for lay leadership, servanthood, financial generosity and personal integrity for the International Church of God.

Bill served in the US Army with the 35th Artillery 24th Infantry Division in field communications. He graduated from Burdette High School with the class of 1956 which continued to meet annually. He enjoyed restoring antique cars, working in his car shop and was a member of the Cars and Cycles Against Cancer Car Club. He was a videographer and audio engineer but more than anything, he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and his extended family.

Billy Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, William David Langley and Ina Mae Edwards.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Ruth Ann Langley;

Five children, Tammy Dlois Looney and husband, Phillip, Lisa Denae Antinori and husband, Philip, Shelly Nikko Foiles and husband, Ken, Barbara Annette Crabb and Billy Wayne Langley Jr. and wife Jennifer;

Fifteen grandchildren, Brandon, Kristen and Justin, Allie and Kyle, Jessica, Hillary, Phillip Matthew, Jacob, Colton, Dillon, Noah, Emily, Ashton, Adaira;

One great-grandchild;

Two brothers, Thomas Langley and wife, Nola, of Spring Hill, Fla., and W.T. Langley and wife, Mary Ann of Blytheville; and

Two sisters, Geraldine Leifheit of Manila and Linda Sanders and husband, Wayne, of Broken Arrow, Okla.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Pathway Church of God with Pastors Danny Rigney and L.V. Rigney officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery.
