William 'Bill' Walls

Mr. William "Bill" Walls, 53, of Blytheville, formerly of Kennett, Mo., passed from this life Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.

Bill was born in Peoria, Ill., to Bobby and Erma Jean Walls. He lived in Blytheville for 20 years and worked in Quality Control for Tenaris Corp. He was of the Baptist faith. Bill served in the US Army as a paratrooper with the 82nd Air Borne Division. He was very active with the Mississippi County Arts Council and Act 2! Community Theatre. He enjoyed making knives and reading science fiction. But more than anything else, he loved spending time with his family.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Walls; and one brother, Richard Boone Walls.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Isebell Walls of the home;

His mother, Erma Jean Key of Kennett;

Two children, Alexander Hunter Walls and Aaron Zachary Walls, both of Blytheville; and

A sister, Cindy Walls Warner of Paragould.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Greg Groves officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time for services. An online register may be signed at cobbfuneralhome.com
