Reva Dell Brothers, 88, of Blytheville, went to be with her Lord Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at the South Ridge Assisted Living facilities in Heber Springs.

She was born May 30, 1924, to J. A "Buddy" and Reva Epperson Lloyd in Blytheville. Mrs. Brothers was a life-long resident of Blytheville and the owner/operator of the Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio on Main Street in Blytheville for 30 years. She was an active member of New Liberty Baptist Church, serving as a Sunday school teacher and choir member.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John L. Brothers; a son, Ronny Brothers; and brothers Julius Lloyd and J. A. Lloyd, and Sister Mamie Mann.

She is survived by a son, John Brothers (Cheryl) of Osceola;

Two daughters, Phyllis Elkins (Tommy) of Heber Springs and Brenda Elkins of Houston, Texas;

A daughter-in-law, Deborah McHaffey Brothers of Osceola;

A brother, Darol Lloyd of Fresno, Calif.;

Three sisters, Sue Emma White of Fresno, Calif., Betty Russell of Bozeman, Mont., and Peggy Mosley of Tick Faw, La; and

Eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Billy Hardesty officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
