Cora Bell Lee

Ms. Cora Bell Lee passed from this life and went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at the age of 63 at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. She was born on March 13, 1949, in Hushpuckena, Miss., to the union of the late John Lee Sr. and Millie L. Calmese Lee. She was also preceded in death by her son, Ebony Lee. Cora confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at White Plain Missionary Baptist Church in Hushpuckena under the leadership of E.L. Enny. She was a former employee of Blytheville Canning Co., American Greetings, Milwaukee Tool and Gosnell Health Care.

She leaves two sons, Stacy A. Lee (special friend Rosemary Hill) and Torrious Y. Davis (special friend Miranda Deere), both of Blytheville;

Six sisters, Betty Swift of Chicago, Elnora Thurman, Virginia Fowler (and Earnest), and Brenda D. Day, all of Blytheville, Patricia A. Lee of Fredericksburg, Va., and Linda P. Mudden (and Rev. Melvin) of Virginia Beach, Va.;

Seven brothers, John Lee Sr. (and Neugenie) and Cornelius Lee (and Denise) of Blytheville, Tommy Lee of Oklahoma City, Clifton T. Lee Sr. of Blytheville, Ricky G. Lee (and Joyce) of Pensacola, Fla., Stanley L. Lee (and Sonja) of Oklahoma City, and Danny O. Lee (and friend Amelia Real) of Dyersburg, Tenn.

She also leaves a host of grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
