Bennie Lloyd Morris, 60, of Bassett, entered into rest Friday, June 8, 2012, in Bassett.

Born Jan. 30, 1952, in Nodena, Ark., to the late Ira and Dorothy Morris, he was a retired CEDA supervisor at Viskase Corporation in Osceola.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Morris of Bassett;

One son, Bradley Morris (Elizabeth) of Keiser;

One daughter, Monica Morris (Derrick Blagg) of Byhalia, Miss.;

Four grandchildren, Tyler Murphy, Brianna Murphy, Cierra Murphy and Jake Morris;

Two sisters, Esther Carr of Joiner and Ina White of Illinois; and

Two brothers, Frank Morris of Norman, Okla., and Ira Morris Jr. of Rockford, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Dixie Morris.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the home of Joan Franks, 2315 W. Highway 181, in Bassett.
