Elizabeth 'Mellow' Lark

Mrs. Elizabeth "Mellow" Lark, 85, of Blytheville, died Monday, June 4, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla. Born in Dell to the late George and Bessie Jones, she was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist church. She enjoyed fishing. eating at KFC and dressing sharp and looking good.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Lark, as well as siblings and children.

Mrs. Lark leaves two daughters, Betty (and Larry) Bradford of Jonesboro and Patricia Lark of Tulsa, Okla.;

Ten sons, Ricky (and Regina) Lark, Larry (and Lisa) Lark and Robert Earl Lark, all of Minneapolis; James (and Monique Lark of Oklahoma City; Leroy (and Brenda) Lark, Terry (and Shawntain) Lark and William Lark, all of Tulsa, Okla.; Jamal Safeeullah of Little Rock, Kellog (and Phyllis) Lark of Blytheville, and Greg (and Patricia) Lark of Marion;

One daughter-in-law, Cynthia Mullins Taylor of Blytheville;

Three sisters, Clara Shaw of Blytheville, and Dr. Bettye J. Speed and Claudie Johnson, both of Cleveland;

One brother, Joe Willie Edwards of Cleveland;

Sixty-four grandchildren; and

Many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul MB Church with Johnny E. Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at St. Paul MB Church.
