Jimmy Lee McLaurin

Jimmy Lee McLaurin, 49, of Luxora, died of heart failure on May 30, 2012 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. Born Dec. 22, 1962 in Osceola, he was a candy distributor and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lemmie McLaurin, Jr. and his brother, Anthony McLaurin.

Mr. McLaurin leaves his mother, Willie Nash of Luxora and his step-father, Leroy Nash of Luxora;

Four sisters, Janie Baker and Sylvia Willis of Osceola, Mary Driver of Memphis, and Sharon Yankaway of Blytheville; and

One brother, James McLaurin of Osceola.

Funeral services, officiated by Rev. McArthur Hampton, were held Saturday, June 2 at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial took place at Sandy Ridge in Burdette.
