Mrs. Shirley Ann Mittag Culp, 67, of Blytheville, passed from this life Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at her home.

Shirley was born in Harlingen, Texas, and was a member of Blytheville Pathway Church of God. She was a housewife who enjoyed reading romance novels and being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She spent many hours volunteering at Pathway Christian Academy.

Mrs. Culp was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Thomas and Syble Culp, whom she considered to be her parents; and grandchildren, Codie, Levi and Reiley Culp.

She leaves her husband, Dale Culp, of the home;

A daughter, Melody Lawson and husband, David, of Plant City, Fla.;

Two sons, Jeff Culp and wife, Christ,y and Timothy Culp and wife, Lakeisha, both of Blytheville;

Two sisters, Janese Knocke and Edna Anstead, both of Texas;

Five grandchildren, Austyn Culp, Airyella Lawson, Amber Culp, Brooklyn Culp and Jonah Culp; and

Several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Rigney officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Cobb Funeral Home. An online register may be signed at cobbfuneralhome.com
