Mr. Freddie Bass, 50, of Blytheville, died Friday, May 4, 2012, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis. He was born in Earle to L.C. Bass and Rosie Lee Childs Bass.

He lived most of his life in Blytheville and was a Blytheville High School graduate and a bus driver for FOCUS. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, but was attending Word of Truth Global Ministries.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Patricia.

Mr. Bass leaves his wife, Aurlee Bass of the home;

His daughter, Raven (and Rodney) Wright of Blytheville;

Four sons, Octavius Bass of Atlanta, Bradrick Luster of Blytheville, Keaton Thomas of Lacy, and Westley (and Ella) Woodson of Jonesboro;

Four sisters, Evelena (and David) Taylor of Columbia, Jackie Bass of Sierra Vista, Patsy (and Melvin) Callicott of Jonesboro, and Linda (and Theodore) Vance of Batesville;

Two brothers, Clayborn (and Aretha) Bass of Blytheville and Calvin (and Dolly) Bass of Parkin;

Twelve grandchildren; and

Nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday at McDonald-Horne Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Sonny Osaige, will be held at Prince of Peace Church, the Rev. Timothy Rogers, Pastor, at 1 p.m. Saturday.
