James Ricky Brock

Mr. James Ricky Brock, 56, of Blytheville, died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Trumann Health and Rehab. Born in Blytheville to James Cecil "Speck" and Bertie Jewell Joiner Brock, he was a driver for the City of Blytheville Sanitation Department.

James was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of the First Baptist Church. He loved crappie fishing, all sports, and being outdoors. He was a former baseball umpire in Houston, Texas. James loved spending time with family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Kathryn Brock Bolen; and his step-brother, Michael Brock.

He is survived by his sister, Jackie Brock Sutterfield, of Blytheville;

Two nephews, Christopher Gardner and Kelby Sutterfield;

His niece, Alli Sutterfield; and

A grandniece, Taylor Hernandez.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville. An online register may be signed at cobbfuneralhome.com
